Dr. Saslow has practiced at Digestive Health since 1996. He specializes in gastrointestinal endoscopy and in the prevention, diagnosis and management of problems of the intestinal tract (esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon), biliary tree (gallbladder and bile ducts) and pancreas.
Dr. Saslow is a magna cum laude graduate of Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, where he completed his degree in Biology. He received his medical degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville and completed his internship and residency at the University of Utah. He completed a three year gastroenterology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic, including a research year concentrating on gastrointestinal motility disorders.
Prior to beginning his gastroenterology training at Mayo Clinic, Dr. Saslow practiced Internal Medicine in Anchorage, Alaska and Salt Lake City, Utah. During his medical training, he also focused on International Medicine, affording him an opportunity to work in a medical capacity in underdeveloped regions at Sierra Leone, Africa and India. In his gastroenterology fellowship, Dr. Saslow participated in a number of research projects that he published in gastroenterology journals and presented at national gastroenterology meetings.
In his free time, Dr. Saslow enjoys cycling, whitewater kayaking, and skiing with his family.
